J&R Restaurant Group was established in 1993 by Steve Grantham Sr. as the Outback Steakhouse franchisee for Mississippi and West Tennessee. His son, Steve Grantham Jr., now operates 8 Outback Steakhouses (Flowood, Hattiesburg, Meridian, D’Iberville, Tupelo and Southaven, all in Mississippi, as well as Cordova and Jackson, Tennessee). Joining Steve on the J&R Leadership team is CEO Russell Perry. Russell is a 36-year veteran in the hospitality industry and has been a part of J&R Restaurant Group for over 21 years. J&R is a family-owned business devoted to its brand, employees and customers, and is dedicated to serving the south with a focus on the communities it serves through charitable and military events
